At Shitokai Shitoryu Karate Association of New Zealand(SSKANZ), we aim to provide men, women and children of all ages physical fitness and self defence skills through the practice of Karate.
As a branch of SSKANZ, we emphasis on sports Karate and tranditional karate.

Sensei
Meng
Sensei Zhiming Meng has been practising martial arts since 1995 back in China. Taekwondo was his major interest.
When he came to New Zealand, Karate became part of his life. After years of practice, he is now a karate judge and referee at the international level.

Our Vision
We aim to provide men, women and children of all ages physical fitness and self defence skills through the practice of Karate.
Our classes also place a great deal of emphasis on sports Karate for individuals wishing to take part in sports Karate tournaments. we can provide the best training system that is focused on representing NZ in world class competitions. We deem ourself as the best Shotokan and Shitoryu Karate styles in NZ.
